I wish to Thank the Academy…

whoo-hoo….!!!!

I was awarded a pretty little award by I’m Not Benny and being the genius that I am, I couldn’t post it yesterday.  But today is a whole ‘nother story.

What does one say in a time like this?  Who to thank?  Well let’s see…

My family, for inspiration.  For aggravation to the point of distraction, and enough emotional blackmail and childhood trauma to fuel my ramblings.  I wouldn’t be who I am if it wasn’t your fault!!!  (this sounds MUCH funnier in my mind than it probably reads, so take as the compliment its supposed to be.)

My friends, I couldn’t make it up without them.  Seriously…these folks are FUnny!!!!  And they call me on my shit, which is decidedly un-funny. 

My Unicorn-Man, for keeping the dream alive…

And to my Blogosphere family…you inspire me to keep writing.  Thank you , Queenie, Benny, Ursula, Blonde Goddess, Mommypie, among many, many others; you are as cool and entertaining to read as I hope to be when I grow up!!
